Cowboys By The Sea is a handmade leather goods brand born in Bali from two best friends who met in a high school handcraft club. We work with local craftsmen to create journals, bags, and accessories from real cow leather; made slowly, made by hand, made to last.
Our workshops invite you to experience the craft yourself. You'll pick your leather, cut and shape your own traveler's journal, choose your charms, and walk out with something you made from scratch.
Every piece of leather we use is unique, with different grain, different texture, different markings. Your journal will develop a patina over time, getting softer and richer the more you use it. It's one of the few things you'll own that actually gets better with age.
